SRSP Building Complex after 27 Years

Two of the senior most members of SRSP Board of Directors, Mr Shoaib Sultan Khan and Mr. Azam Khan who were also founder members of the BOD, laid the foundation of SRSP office and Training complex at Hayatabad. The BoD and Senior Management attended the function.

Youth Development Activity under PEACE:
 Osorai Dara is one of the far flung and marginalized valleys in UC Dislor of Dir Upper where basic need are scarce and people are lacking livelihood opportunities. Most of the people are working abroad. The development agencies and project very rare come such remote areas and execute development programs. According to elders of the area, they hadn’t been given opportunities neither by the government nor by the development agencies and donors to take active role in development of the area. This is the first effort from any development organization to give a ray of hope to these marginalized people and the people feel proud to be associated with SRSP in the form of community institutes.

Three days training on Pakistan Approach to Total Sanitation PATS

Three days training on Pakistan Approach to Total Sanitation (PATS) was organized for 30 elected members (18 male and 12 female) in District Buner under WASH PATs plus project. The objective of the training was to orient the participants on WASH policy framework at district level, provide low cost solutions regarding sanitation and water safety and to elaborate their role in open defecation free (ODF) declaration, verification, certification and sustainability check. Furthermore, their knowledge was enhanced on gender mainstreaming, equity, disaster risk reduction, climate change and environmental protection. The training was organized by SRSP in collaboration with Government of KPK and funded by UNICEF.
